Martin Elsbury is an editor who needs little introduction.  He’s an award-winning BAFTA and Emmy nominated editor with more than 25 years experience of film editing. His work for the BBC includes many major series such as Kingdom of the Ice Bear, Trials of Life, Life in the Freezer, Alien Empire, The Private Life of Plants, Life of Mammals and Blue Planet – to name but a few.  Although his name is most often associated with these kind of blue chip productions, he’s also worked with many other production companies on a diverse range of film styles and projects for UK, European and US broadcast channels.

Martin edited Disneynature’s new film, African Cats, which was released in cinemas on Earth Day, 22nd April, 2011.

Martin has two dogs who need regular walking, a kayak that needs regular paddling and a camera that gets clicked when he can remember to take it out.
