Tailor-made Courses

We can also design courses specifically for individual organisations, which are structured for their requirements. Last summer we hosted a special one-day course for the Guild of Television Cameramen on Monday, 28th June, 2010.

Ever since the BBC Natural History Unit was established in the 1950s specialist cameramen have been pioneering techniques and approaches to filming wildlife that have profoundly moulded our view of the natural world.

Meet the Wildlife Filmmakers has been created expressly to give camera people working in documentary television an insight into some of the intricacies of filming wildlife.  It includes Capturing Close Encounters and Elements of Fieldcraft with John Waters, a cameraman with more than sixty credits to his name, and Innovative Techniques in Filming Time-Lapse with Tim Shepherd, who specialises in macro and time-lapse filming.  They will be joined by senior producer, Mike Salisbury, who worked closely with David Attenborough on five of his landmark television series.
