We are a group of professional filmmakers who produce wildlife films for television channels around the world. We include producers, directors, camera-people and editors. We want to share our skills and inspire people of all ages to engage with nature through filmmaking.

In June this year six students (and a writer from BBC Countryfile Magazine) joined Bristol Wildlife Filmmakers’ Introduction to Wildlife Filmmaking course at Folly Farm. Working in two groups they were tasked with making short films centring on Folly’s wild flower meadows.

NEW COURSE Introduction to Wildlife Filmmaking: Wildflowers, Badgers and Butterflies

Friday June 3rd – Sunday June 5th 2011

On this residential summer course students will be filming Folly Farm’s badgers at dusk as they leave their sett to forage for food in nearby woodland and meadows. During the daytime it is the Reserve’s beautiful wildflower meadows that will take centre stage.
